St. Charles Catholic School and Northwestern Hockey Outreach Camp, directed by Larry Bumstead, are pleased to announce some exciting changes to our hockey program.
Thanks to the ongoing and valuable feedback of our participants our Hockey Development Program continues to evolve in order to accommodate as many students and families as possible, while at the same time provide the optimum in on-ice training and development.
Our hockey program will now be held at the new MOOSEPLEX. We are excited to be one of the first programs to be held at Winnipeg's newest hockey training facility.
Also, we are expanding our program to include students at the entry level of hockey skills as part of our Right Start Hockey Skills Program for students in grades 1-8, as well as the Northwestern Hockey Academy for competitive players at the A1 and AA level in grades 4-8. The two programs will be scheduled separately to allow full-ice instruction. This will offer a more inclusive program and provide training that is not readily available through outher sources.
We invite you to ask yourself the following questions:
- Are you a first time hockey player?
- Would you like to see your game progress to the next level?
- Would you like to practice your hockey skills in a non-competitive environment?
- Is there part of your game that needs improvement to advance to a higher level?
- Would you like to prepare for your first hockey try-outs?
- Are you a recreational hockey player who would like more time on the ice?
- Are you a competitive player, playing at the A1 or AA level?
